From El Choli to Your DMs: How Bad Bunny Took Over Tinder

Bad Bunny’s historic No Me Quiero Ir de Aquí residency at Puerto Rico’s iconic Coliseo de Puerto Rico isn’t just packing out the venue — it’s lighting up Tinder feeds around the world.

Since the residency was announced in January, mentions of “Bad Bunny” in Tinder bios have jumped nearly 13%, with men mentioning him about 200% more than women. Whether or not fans scored tickets, they’re finding creative ways to share their Benito love — and maybe find a concert date.

In Puerto Rico, swiping has surged 35% since July, and Tinder Passport Mode (which lets you match in other cities) has spiked 52%, turning San Juan into the app’s hottest “travel” destination. Outside the U.S., most virtual visitors are coming from the Dominican Republic, Colombia, and Spain.

Benito’s dominance doesn’t stop there — he’s also the No. 1 Spotify artist linked to Tinder profiles in Mexico, Spain, and Colombia. His latest tracks, like “DtMF,” “BAILE INoLVIDABLE,” and “NUEVAYoL,” are flooding playlists and bios alike.

As the man himself says: “No me quiero ir de aquí” — and it looks like Tinder users feel the same, just with someone special by their side.
