Francelys Infante, Wife of Romeo Santos, Suffered Vision Loss from a ‘Migraine,’ Later Diagnosed with Three Brain Aneurysms

Francelys Infante, wife of Latin star Romeo Santos, experienced a severe migraine in late 2023, initially attributing it to exhaustion from raising her three children. However, the pain worsened, leading to vision loss and intense pressure. After undergoing an MRI, doctors found two brain aneurysms, which required immediate surgery. A third aneurysm was later discovered. A brain aneurysm is a dangerous condition where a blood vessel in the brain bulges and can rupture, potentially leading to death.

Infante underwent emergency surgery in Miami, which saved her life. Her recovery took several months, during which she had to adjust emotionally and physically. She now faces regular checkups to monitor her condition. Although the risk of another aneurysm is low, Infante lives with the fear of recurrence.

Her story highlights the importance of knowing brain aneurysm symptoms—such as intense headaches, vision problems, and paralysis—as these can be life-threatening. Infante hopes her experience raises awareness about the condition, particularly encouraging women to prioritize their health.
