The comparisons between Shakira and Beyoncé have been around for years, and this latest controversy has fans divided. While the silver aesthetic and dramatic stage props do bear some resemblance to Beyoncé’s Renaissance era, it’s worth noting that metallic visuals and futuristic themes have been popular across pop music performances for a while.
Shakira has also built her own legacy with her signature styles, and her use of a metallic wolf could be tied to her “She Wolf” era rather than directly copying Beyoncé’s silver horse. And let’s not forget, both artists worked with Versace, a brand that has been dressing global superstars for decades.
