Everything You Need to Know About the 2025 Concacaf Gold Cup

The 2025 Concacaf Gold Cup is set to kick off from June 14 to July 6, bringing together 16 national teams from North America, Central America, and the Caribbean—plus guest nation Saudi Arabia—in the region’s premier international soccer tournament.

This year’s edition will be co-hosted by the United States and Canada, marking both nations’ final competitive appearances before they join Mexico in hosting the FIFA 2026 World Cup.

In the United States:

  • English: FOX (select USMNT matches), FS1, FS2

  • Spanish: TUDN, ViX

In Canada:

  • English: OneSoccer

  • Spanish: TLN

Group Stage Breakdown

Each of the four groups contains four teams, with the top two in each advancing to the knockout stage:

  • Group A: Mexico, Costa Rica, Suriname, Dominican Republic

  • Group B: Canada, Honduras, El Salvador, Curaçao

  • Group C: Panama, Jamaica, Guatemala, Guadeloupe

  • Group D: United States, Haiti, Trinidad & Tobago, Saudi Arabia

The tournament will be played across 14 venues—13 in the U.S. and 1 in Canada—including 7 MLS stadiums:

  • BC Place (Vancouver Whitecaps FC) – Vancouver, BC

  • Dignity Health Sports Park (LA Galaxy) – Carson, CA

  • Energizer Park (St. Louis CITY SC) – St. Louis, MO

  • PayPal Park (San Jose Earthquakes) – San Jose, CA

  • Q2 Stadium (Austin FC) – Austin, TX

  • Shell Energy Stadium (Houston Dynamo FC) – Houston, TX

  • Snapdragon Stadium (San Diego FC) – San Diego, CA

Additional venues in MLS markets include AT&T Stadium, NRG Stadium, SoFi Stadium, Levi’s Stadium, U.S. Bank Stadium, State Farm Stadium, and Allegiant Stadium.


Tournament Schedule

  • Group Stage: June 14 – June 24

  • Quarterfinals: June 28 – June 29

  • Semifinals: July 2

  • Final: July 6 (at NRG Stadium in Houston)

The tournament opens with Mexico vs. Dominican Republic at SoFi Stadium in California.


Tournament Format

Teams compete in a single-game round-robin format during the group stage. The top two teams from each group progress to the knockout stage, which features single-elimination matches from the quarterfinals through the final.


Gold Cup History

Since its inception in 1991, only three countries have won the Gold Cup:

  • Mexico: 9 titles

  • United States: 7 titles

  • Canada: 1 title

The 2025 edition promises fierce competition as teams fine-tune their squads ahead of the 2026 World Cup spotlight.
