Daddy Yankee bids Toronto farewell

BARRIO – Last night, September 11, Daddy Yankee electrified a packed Scotiabank arena in what would be his last concert in Toronto.

He did not disappoint. He made sure to sing all his bangers, old and new! Regrettably we were not there as we were busy preparing for our Daddy Yankee After Party.. but we were tagged on many photographs on Instagram. We thank you for continuing to do that. We will do a better job of reposting the tagged photos on IG… ANYWAY, trust us, our FOMO was real!

So now, DY will continue his farewell tour, La Ultima Vuelta World Tour. The man who basically put reggaeton on the map, will continue to sell out arenas across the globe. We’re not sure what retirement holds for him, but the genre is definitely in good hands.

Next week Toronto will see Karol G and Sebastian Yatra. The only way these major artists will continue to make a Toronto pitstop is if we as a culture continue to show love and support. Que viva la cultura!!!

ALSO, we’re hosting our very own Karol G after party at Baro on King St West and tickets are available now on this site. See you all there!
