Aventura faced criticism after an incident during their recent concert in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, where Yailin La Más Viral made a surprise appearance to perform their hit song “Obsesión.” While her presence excited the audience, controversy arose due to the actions of bassist Max Santos.
During the performance, Max made suggestive gestures toward Yailin, including hugging her from behind and biting her hip, which made her visibly uncomfortable. Romeo Santos intervened to de-escalate the situation. The incident sparked backlash on social media, with many calling Max’s behavior inappropriate and disrespectful. Neither Yailin, Max Santos, nor the band has officially addressed the controversy.
