TORONTO (Barrio) – Canada’s Wonderland has been open for a week now and the park wants to remind you of a few new rules that they would like the guests to follow.
Wonderland announced its safety protocols for the upcoming 2022 season, revealing that reservations will no longer be required.
“We want you to have an AMAZING day and feel safe when visiting so we developed an extensive coronavirus opening plan. We’re all in this together and by working together you can safely and confidently enjoy the fun that only Canada’s Wonderland can deliver,” park officials wrote.
Masks will be optional for guests since Ontario government has completely scrapped mask mandates.
Proof of vaccination will also no longer be required upon entry, and guests will no longer have to go through a health screening process. However, Wonderland asks guests to reschedule their visit if they are experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms.
Canada’s Wonderland still encourages that one person out of each group downloads its mobile app with location services on, so they can find their way around, keep tabs on how long the lines are for their favourite rides and get any other real-time updates the park provides.
If you’re looking to buy funnel cakes or footlong hotdogs during your visit, Wonderland is now cashless and will only accept contactless payment methods.
