According to a new study by The Reputation Institute, Canada has been named the most respected country in the world, topping this year’s global reputation rankings.

Norway and Sweden followed in second and third place, while Switzerland and Australia rounded out the top five.

The annual report evaluates countries based on effective governance, quality of life, and economic advancement. Respondents were asked about their admiration, trust, and overall sentiment toward each nation.

Canada’s consistent leadership, environmental appeal, and reputation for inclusivity helped it secure the top spot once again — a source of pride for Canadians and a reminder of the country’s global influence.
