BARRIO – Blessd is set to hit the road for his highly anticipated summer North American tour. The 24-date stint will kick off April 29 in San Juan, Puerto Rico, and will visit cities such as Las Vegas, San Francisco, Chicago and New York before wrapping June 18 in Calgary, Alberta.

Born Stiven Mesa Londoño, Blessd is part of the new wave of reggaetoneros coming from Medellin. His path to stardom has not been easy, and he’s worked hard to get to where he is now. Blessd credits Venezuelan rapper Akapellah and Arcangel for inspiring him to follow his dreams as a musician.

When the artistic guise of Blessd wasn’t born yet and he was still just Stiven,  Londoño would wake up at 2 a.m. to go sell fruit at a local market in Medellin, where his father’s family has worked for years. He would make about $8-$10 per day helping unload boxes. “This was my motivation to work harder,” Blessed says, “I wanted to progress and see [music] as a job.”

Blessd can sing his iconic single, ‘Medallo’ anywhere in the world and people would know it.

On June 17, 2023 Blessd will be at History in Toronto with a host of Canadian artists. Fito Blanko, Alx Veliz, Looch Bodega, Aiona Santana, Bebeboy, EP the Latino and DJ Danny Castro. This is going to be lots of fun.

We should add that Blessd’s tour DJ, and our good friend DJ Felo, will also be here. LFG!

Tickets go on pre-sale Thursday April 6 at TicketMaster, using code: AFRO2. Tickets will be available to the general public on Friday April 7. Click here for direct link to tickets.
