BARRIO (Marca) – Anuel AA has alarmed all his fans with his latest social media post. Accustomed to sharing his day-to-day life and images of his latest work, the Latin artist has left that aside to announce that he has undergone emergency surgery and that, although fortunately he is alive, he was close to death and, therefore, must stay away from music until he fully recovers.

“I had emergency surgery last night. Only God knows the why things happen, it was a matter of life or death,” writes Anuel AA in a post on Instagram, in which he also shares a snapshot in which he is seen on a hospital bed.

That’s why the singer has confessed that he has to stop working for a while: “I can’t keep working right now. Thank God I’m alive, that’s all that matters to me. Rompe Corazones was going to come out in two weeks, but not anymore (postponed until further notice, I’ll give you the date soon).”

Anuel AA apologizes and hopes to return soon

“I’m sorry for having to change the date of the EP, delaying it even more. I know they have been waiting for me and I committed myself with determination to recover my career after almost destroying it myself…”, adds Anuel AA, affected by what the announcement may mean for his fans around the world.

I have a plan to work real hard as it’s the firs time I have a team like other elite artists, but it’s God’s plan to wait a little longer to be able to overcome as I did when I got out of jail. Love you all!

“Keep me in your prayers and let’s leave everything in God’s hands. The doctors who treated me and saved me, thank you,” concludes Anuel AA in his Instagram post.
