A truck plowed into a bar in the Dominican Republic killing 11 and injuring 40

A tragic accident occurred early Sunday in Azua, Dominican Republic, where a truck crashed into a bar, resulting in at least 11 deaths and over 40 injuries. The crash took place in the southern community, and among the victims was a police sergeant. Authorities are still investigating the cause of the crash and reviewing local camera footage. The truck driver fled the scene and is currently missing, while a passenger was detained. The truck was carrying avocados at the time. Most of the injured were taken to a nearby hospital, with four in critical condition. The injured include women aged 17 to 45 and men aged 18 to 55.
