The Estefans brought along a very large entourage, which included their nieces Lili Estefan and Lina Luaces as well as daughter-in-law Lara Diamante Estefan-Coppola.

Gloria was especially excited to bring along her grandson Sasha Argento Coppola Estefan, who’s the only child of her 42-year-old son, Nite Owl Theater owner Nayib Estefan.

The doting grandmother shared an Instagram snap on Wednesday of herself and little Sasha – turning 11 next Wednesday – rehearsing for the two songs for the ceremony – ‘One that someone else will sing, and one sung by me.’

Estefan was also very excited to hang out with fellow Songwriters Hall of Fame inductee – six-time Grammy winner Glen Ballard – who wore a purple shirt beneath his black suit.

‘I always say Man in the Mirror, that Glen Ballard worked on with Michael [Jackson],’ Gloria gushed of one of her favorite songs.

‘I really admire his music: Jagged Little Pill, I still hear it and go “Wow, this is groundbreaking.” And it’s because it’s real, a lot came out from Alanis [Morrissette’s] emotion at the time. But the songwriters, they nailed it. It was spectacular.’
