BARRIO – Bad Bunny hosted the family of a child killed in the Robb Elementary School mass shooting to his sold-out concert at the Alamodome in San Antonio last week Wednesday.

Steven Garcia and Jennifer Lugo, parents of nine-year-old Eliahna “Ellie” Garcia — one of the 19 children killed in the Uvalde, Texas school shooting on May 24— thanked Bad Bunny for the invite and shared photos from their Alamodome luxury suite. The global sensation reportedly also treated the family to free merch and dinner. The gesture comes as students from the district returned to school this week for the first time since the tragedy.

Ellie was still heavily on her parents’ hearts and minds during the show. Garcia wore a necklace with her photo. Lugo wore a pin commemorating her daughter. “Tonight our beautiful Ellie sits in with us to experience with us!!!! I love you baby!!!! Tonight we #LiveLikeEllie,” Garcia wrote. “Thank you again Bad Bunny Uvalde is in the HOUSE.”

It’s not the first time Bad Bunny has given back to Uvalde families following the massacre. The reggaeton artist and his Good Bunny Foundation contributed funding, along with former Astros shortstop Carlos Correa’s nonprofit organization Correa Family Foundation, to build Uvalde survivor Mayah Zamora and her family a new home after they learned they lived just a few blocks away from the gunman.
