Looking for a cheap weekend activity? Cineplex is bringing back its $3.99 Family Favourites throughout October, with discounted movies playing at participating theatres across Canada every Saturday.
With October 3 already behind us, there are still four discounted movie days left this month:
October 10 — PAW Patrol: The Dino Movie
The pups are back, this time with dinosaurs, after crash-landing on a mysterious tropical island.
October 17 — The Magic Faraway Tree
A family moves to the countryside, where the kids discover a magical tree that transports them to fantastical new worlds.
October 24 — E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial
The Steven Spielberg classic returns to the big screen just in time for a nostalgic family movie day.
October 31 — Super Simple Songs: Halloween Spectacular
Cineplex is wrapping up the month with a Halloween sing-along experience aimed at younger kids — and costumes are encouraged.
Tickets are $3.99 plus tax when purchased at the theatre. Online tickets are $3.99 for CineClub members, $4.99 for Scene+ members and $5.49 for other online purchases because of booking fees.
The Family Favourites movies are available at participating Cineplex locations, so check your local theatre for showtimes before heading out.
For families looking for something inexpensive to do this October, a $3.99 movie is pretty hard to beat.
