Colombian Star Kapo Is Coming to Toronto This December 🇨🇴🇨🇦

Toronto is getting another major dose of Colombian music this winter.

Kapo, one of the fastest-rising Colombian artists in Latin music, is coming to Toronto for a live performance at REBEL on Thursday, December 10, 2026.

And fans won’t have to wait long to get tickets.

Presale begins Tuesday, September 15 at 10 a.m. ET using the password AFROROSA.

Tickets go on sale to the general public Wednesday, September 16 at 10 a.m. ET.

The Toronto stop gives Canadian fans a chance to see an artist whose rise over the past few years has been impossible to ignore.

Born Juan David Loaiza Sepúlveda in Colombia, Kapo has emerged as one of the new voices pushing Afro-Colombian and Latin sounds onto the global stage.

His breakthrough came with “Ohnana,” the infectious Afrobeat-influenced track that introduced Kapo to millions of listeners internationally.

Then came “UWAIE.”

The song took his momentum to another level, becoming a massive streaming hit and further establishing Kapo as one of Colombia’s most exciting young artists.

Rather than fitting neatly into traditional reggaeton, Kapo has developed a sound that mixes Afrobeat, Afropop, Colombian rhythms and urbano influences — part of a broader movement expanding what Colombian music sounds like internationally.

His success also continues an incredible period for Colombian artists.

From global superstars like Shakira, Karol G and J Balvin to a new generation of artists finding audiences outside Colombia, the country’s influence on Latin music continues to grow.

Kapo represents another side of that story.

His music is tropical and heavily influenced by African rhythms while still feeling connected to Colombia and the wider Latin music scene.

And Toronto has increasingly become an important stop for artists riding that wave.

With one of Canada’s largest and most diverse Latin American communities — including a significant Colombian population — Toronto continues attracting Latin artists who might once have skipped Canada entirely on international tours.

Now Kapo gets his turn.

The Colombian recording artist will take over REBEL on December 10, giving Toronto another major Latin concert to close out 2026.

For fans planning to go, Tuesday morning is the first opportunity to secure tickets.
