Bad Bunny can officially add Emmy winner to his already historic résumé.
The Puerto Rican superstar won his first Primetime Emmy for his unforgettable 2026 Super Bowl halftime show, which took home Outstanding Variety Special (Live) at the Emmy Awards.
But it didn’t stop there.
The Apple Music Super Bowl LX Halftime Show Starring Bad Bunny completely dominated the night, winning all seven categories in which it was nominated — including directing, music direction, choreography, sound mixing, lighting design and technical direction/camerawork.
That made Bad Bunny’s halftime show the biggest winner of the night.
The victory comes just months after Bad Bunny turned the Super Bowl field into a massive celebration of Puerto Rican and Latino culture.
His 13-minute performance brought Puerto Rico to one of the biggest stages in the world, incorporating everything from a sugar cane field and a neighbourhood bodega to a wedding celebration and the iconic casita seen during his Puerto Rico residency.
Lady Gaga and Ricky Martin also joined him during the performance.
An estimated 125 million viewers watched the Super Bowl broadcast.
Now, the performance has officially been recognized by the Television Academy.
For Bad Bunny, it’s another huge milestone in an incredible year that already saw “Debí Tirar Más Fotos” become the first all-Spanish-language album to win Album of the Year at the Grammys.
Grammy winner. Super Bowl headliner. And now Emmy winner.
