Get ready to laugh en español.

The Latin Comedy Fest is returning this fall, bringing comedians from across Latin America and Canada together for what organizers bill as Canada’s largest Latin comedy festival.

The 2026 festival will feature six nights of comedy across three Canadian cities, beginning in Montreal on October 16 and 17, followed by Ottawa on October 18 before arriving in Toronto from October 23 to 25.

This year’s festival brings together around 40 comedians representing countries and cultures from across the Latin world. (Latin Comedy Fest)

And this isn’t your typical comedy festival.

Latin Comedy Fest puts the Latino experience front and centre, with comedians tackling everything from immigrant parents and relationships to cultural differences, accents, dating and the sometimes hilarious reality of building a life in Canada.

Toronto has become an important home for Spanish-language comedy in recent years, with a growing audience looking to see their own experiences and culture represented on stage.

The festival has also helped provide a platform for both established international comedians and emerging Latino talent in Canada.

Among the people behind the festival are Toronto-based comedians Stephan Dyer and Juan Cajiao, who have performed internationally while helping build a Spanish-language comedy scene here at home.

For Toronto’s growing Latin community, three nights of comedy from across the Latin world sounds like a pretty good way to spend an October weekend.

Latin Comedy Fest takes over Toronto October 23 to 25, 2026.

And yes — your parents, your accent and your entire immigrant childhood are probably getting roasted.
