One of Canada’s most iconic destinations is about to get a serious dose of Latin culture.

The first-ever Salsa at Niagara Falls takes place September 12 and 13, bringing two days of live music, dancing, Latin food and entertainment to Niagara Falls.

The free festival will feature more than 300 performers across two stages, three dance zones with interactive lessons and nightly fireworks choreographed to salsa music at 10 p.m.

Frankie Negrón Headlines Sunday Night

One of the biggest highlights will be Puerto Rican salsa star Frankie Negrón, who returns to Canada after nearly a decade to perform a free concert on Sunday, September 13 at 8 p.m.

The lineup also includes JUNO-nominated artist Andy Rubal, Yani Borrell, Aiona Santana and dozens of musicians, dancers and Latin performers.

And it’s hard to imagine a better backdrop.

Thousands of people dancing salsa beside Niagara Falls followed by salsa-choreographed fireworks over the Falls could make this one of the most unique Latin events in Canada this summer.

Salsa at Niagara Falls runs September 12 and 13 from noon to 10 p.m., and admission is completely free.

Toronto Latinos is proud to be a media sponsor of the inaugural Salsa at Niagara Falls and help celebrate Latin music, culture and community at one of Canada’s most famous landmarks.
