Bad Bunny is continuing to blur the lines between Latin music, fashion and soccer.
The Puerto Rican superstar and Adidas have released the latest version of the Bad Bunny F50 Ghost Sprint, a sneaker inspired by one of Adidas’ most recognizable soccer silhouettes.
The newest release comes in an all-black “Core Black/Charcoal/Aurora Black” colourway and officially dropped on August 29 for $160 USD.
But despite looking like something that belongs on the pitch, this isn’t exactly a traditional soccer cleat.
From the Soccer Field to the Street
The F50 Ghost Sprint takes inspiration from Adidas’ F50 soccer heritage and transforms it into a lifestyle sneaker designed to be worn off the field.
The shoe combines a breathable mesh upper with lightweight cage detailing and soccer-inspired tooling, creating something that feels like a cross between an early-2000s soccer boot and a running shoe.
Bad Bunny and Adidas originally introduced the F50 Ghost Sprint around the 2026 FIFA World Cup, leaning heavily into the growing connection between soccer culture and streetwear.
The first blue version arrived July 18, followed by other colourways including the bright “Solar Slime” edition.
Bad Bunny’s Adidas Partnership Keeps Growing
Bad Bunny has been collaborating with Adidas for years, releasing his own interpretations of sneakers including the Forum, Campus and Gazelle.
But soccer has increasingly become part of that relationship.
Bad Bunny previously joined Lionel Messi for a special Adidas collection featuring both the Gazelle and the F50 cleat. Adidas said the collaboration brought together two silhouettes closely connected to the pair: the F50 with Messi and the Gazelle with Bad Bunny.
Now the F50 Ghost Sprint pushes that connection further by taking the aesthetic of soccer footwear and turning it directly into a streetwear sneaker.
Soccer Fashion Is Having a Moment
The timing makes sense.
Soccer jerseys, vintage kits and football-inspired sneakers have increasingly crossed over into everyday fashion, while the 2026 World Cup put even more attention on the culture surrounding the sport.
Bad Bunny is essentially taking a shoe that looks like it could have been worn during a Champions League match in the early 2000s and making it something you can wear with jeans.
And judging by how much soccer culture has taken over fashion lately, he might be right on time.
The Bad Bunny F50 Ghost Sprint is currently listed through Adidas in multiple colourways.
For Bad Bunny, it’s another example of how far his influence now stretches beyond music — from reggaeton to fashion and, increasingly, the world’s biggest sport.
