With the FIFA World Cup 2026 just days away, Toronto is preparing for what may be the biggest month-long celebration in the city’s history.
From June 11 to July 19, Toronto will transform into a giant football playground filled with fan festivals, watch parties, concerts, interactive activations, and community events designed to bring the excitement of the World Cup far beyond the stadium gates.
The centerpiece of the celebrations will be the city’s official FIFA Fan Festival at Fort York National Historic Site and The Bentway. Fans can expect live match broadcasts, cultural showcases, food vendors, and performances from major Canadian artists including Bryan Adams and The Strumbellas.
For supporters looking for a free option, Harbourfront Centre will host Canada Soccer House, featuring watch parties, live entertainment, food, drinks, and special programming dedicated to Canada’s national team.
Elsewhere across the city, fans can enjoy adidas’ Home of Soccer at Stackt Market, Soccer Fest in Bloor-Yorkville, the North York Soccer City Celebration at Mel Lastman Square, and dozens of watch parties at venues like RendezViews.
Fans wanting to get on the pitch themselves can visit College Park’s InPlay activation or reserve a spot on Canada’s first-ever floating futsal field at Sport Chek Harbourfront FC.
Toronto will host six World Cup matches at BMO Field, including the first men’s World Cup match ever played on Canadian soil when Canada opens the tournament against Bosnia and Herzegovina on June 12.
Whether you’re attending a match, cheering at a watch party, or simply soaking up the atmosphere downtown, one thing is clear: Toronto is ready to embrace the world’s biggest sporting event like never before.
