More than 20 years after their global hit “Move Ya Body” took over clubs, radio stations, and dance floors around the world, Puerto Rican duo Nina Sky is still proving why they remain one of the most recognizable Latina acts in music. And now, they’re heading to ASADO on June 27 for what’s expected to be one of the summer’s biggest Latin party nights.
Known for blending reggaeton, dancehall, hip-hop, and R&B long before it became mainstream, twins Natalie and Nicole Albino helped shape an entire era of Latin crossover music. Born in Puerto Rico and raised in Queens, New York, the sisters grew up surrounded by music thanks to their DJ stepfather, eventually learning instruments, DJing, and songwriting before launching their own duo.
Their breakout anthem “Move Ya Body” exploded in 2004 and quickly became an international hit, topping charts across Europe while dominating parties throughout North America and Latin America. That success launched a career filled with collaborations alongside some of the biggest names in music, including Daddy Yankee, Pitbull, Aventura, Sean Paul, Diplo, and many more.
Even after two decades in the industry, Nina Sky has never truly left the spotlight. The duo continues to evolve as artists, DJs, and performers while balancing a new phase of life as mothers. Earlier this year, they released new music including “4PLAY” with Toronto’s very own, 4Korners, and “La Buena Vida 2” with Manu Manzo, proving their sound and energy still connect with audiences worldwide.
Now they’re bringing that same energy to ASADO.

The June 27 kickoff party is shaping up to be one of the festival’s most exciting nights yet, mixing live music, Latin culture, food, dancing, and thousands of people ready to celebrate summer together. Organizers are expecting massive crowds as ASADO continues growing into one of Canada’s biggest Latin festivals.
Tickets start at just $5, with prices increasing to $10 after 6 PM, making it one of the most affordable major Latin events of the summer. Your Saturday ticket, also gets you in to the festival on Sunday for FREE!
If you grew up dancing to “Move Ya Body,” this is the kind of night you won’t want to miss. And if you’re discovering Nina Sky for the first time, get ready to understand why they’ve remained icons for over 20 years.
