The Asado Festival is officially returning for its third year — and it’s coming back bigger than ever at Assembly Park in Vaughan, June 26, 27, 28.
After drawing massive crowds in Toronto in 2024, organizers moved the festival north to Assembly Park, where the expanded venue offers more space and capacity for the growing celebration of Latin culture. The move allows the event to stretch out, welcoming thousands of attendees with room to explore, connect, and experience the sights, sounds, and flavours of Latin America and the Caribbean.
This year’s festival will feature over 50 vendors and culinary teams representing a wide range of traditions from across Latin America and the Caribbean. Top Brazilian Steakhouse in Vaughan, Copacabana, is once again the main sponsor for the event and definitely a crowd favourite. From smoky grills and street food favourites to sweet treats and refreshing drinks, Asado continues to showcase the diversity of Latin cuisine in one vibrant setting.
Beyond the food, the three-day festival will be packed with live music, cultural programming, and interactive activity spaces designed for the entire community. Guests can wander through vendor markets, discover new flavours, dance to Latin rhythms, and experience cultural performances throughout the weekend.
Event founder, Carlos Brito of Toronto Latinos, says “the festival is about more than just great food — it’s about creating a gathering place where Latin culture can be celebrated and shared with the wider community.”
The festivities begin Friday with a special kickoff event as the Reggaeton Block Party returns, setting the tone for an energetic weekend. Friday’s tickets are not available at this time, but stay connected. Saturday and Sunday will feature the full festival experience, with daily admission priced at just $5, making the event accessible for families, friends, and culture lovers alike.
With growing attendance each year, the festival is also looking beyond Vaughan. Brito mentions that plans are already in motion to take the Asado experience on the road, bringing the celebration of Latin culture to new cities in the future.
For now, though, all roads lead to Vaughan — where Latin flavours, music, and community will once again come together for one unforgettable weekend.
