Toronto Blue Jays star Vladimir Guerrero Jr. is turning heads ahead of the 2026 season — and not just because of his bat. The 26-year-old slugger recently shared before-and-after photos showing a noticeably leaner and more toned physique after seven weeks of intense training. The transformation is dramatic, with visible body fat gone and a more balanced, athletic build in its place.

This isn’t new territory for Vladdy. After weight concerns in 2020, he committed to a strict training program and delivered a monster 2021 season, hitting .311 with 48 home runs and a 1.002 OPS while finishing second in AL MVP voting. History shows that when Guerrero Jr. locks in physically, his performance follows.
Despite a slightly quieter 2025 regular season, he exploded in the playoffs, batting .397 with eight home runs and earning ALCS MVP honors as Toronto reached the World Series.
Now, he’s preparing for his first World Baseball Classic, representing the Dominican Republic. With a stacked roster around him, a fully locked-in Guerrero Jr. makes the Dominican squad — and the Blue Jays — even more dangerous heading into 2026.
