Shakira just turned a world tour into a piece of music history.

Billboard has confirmed that her Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour is now the highest-grossing Hispanic tour of all time, pulling in an incredible $421.6 million across 82 stadium shows in the United States and Latin America.

More than 2.5 million fans attended the tour, pushing Shakira past the previous record held by Luis Miguel, whose 2023–24 run grossed $409.5 million. The achievement marks a massive moment not just for Shakira, but for Latin music on the global stage.

Reflecting on the milestone, Shakira emphasized how much the industry has evolved since she began her career over 30 years ago. She credited the loyalty and passion of her fans for making the historic moment possible, calling the experience “unbelievable” after decades of hard work and challenges.

A Historic Mexico City Run

One of the tour’s most impressive feats came in Mexico City, where Shakira performed 12 sold-out shows at Estadio GNP Seguros. Each night drew around 65,000 fans, totaling 780,000 attendees — so much demand that a 13th show was added.

A Global Touring Icon

The record-breaking tour adds to an already huge year for Shakira. She received Billboard’s Global Touring Icon Award, earned a Pollstar nomination for Latin Tour of the Year, and continues to expand her musical reach. Her recent track “Zoo,” tied to Zootopia 2, has already surpassed 500 million streams, with more new music on the way.

Bigger Than Numbers

This milestone isn’t just about revenue. It highlights how far Latin artists have come in global touring power. Stadium runs of this scale used to be rare for Spanish-language acts — now Shakira is setting the benchmark.

Three decades into her career, she’s not just sustaining relevance — she’s redefining what’s possible for Hispanic artists worldwide.
