Bachata fans, this is the moment you’ve been waiting for.

Romeo Santos and Prince Royce have officially joined forces for a new collaborative album titled Better Late Than Never, and the excitement across the Latin music world is real. The project brings together two generations of bachata’s biggest icons, blending classic and modern sounds into one highly anticipated release.

In a recent interview with Billboard, both artists confirmed they’re also considering a worldwide tour to support the album. But this wouldn’t be a traditional split set. Romeo made it clear they want something much bigger.

They don’t want a “your set, my set” type of show — they want a full musical journey that blends both catalogs into one immersive experience.

Prince Royce shared that the collaboration took time to materialize because they wanted to get it right. With both artists having distinct styles, they felt pressure to meet fans’ expectations while still staying true to their individual sounds.

This marks the first full-length joint project between the two, despite previously sharing stages and collaborations. In true playful spirit, they even referred to themselves as the “Batman and Robin of bachata.”

What to Expect from the Album

Better Late Than Never includes:

  • 13 total tracks

  • 4 co-written songs

  • A mix of classic bachata and modern rhythms

  • Afrobeat and contemporary urban elements

The first track created for the project, “Mi Plan,”, was recorded during a session in St. Barts in 2023.

Release Date

The album officially drops on November 28, 2025 — marking a historic moment for bachata as two legends unite at the peak of their careers.

With a potential global tour on the horizon and fan demand at an all-time high, this duo is proving that some collaborations are truly worth the wait.

The countdown has officially begun.
