Toronto lives to fight another day! 💥

Behind home runs from Addison Barger and Vladimir Guerrero Jr., the Toronto Blue Jays kept their World Series dreams alive with a 6-2 victory over the Seattle Mariners in Game 6 of the ALCS.

The win sends this intense series to a winner-take-all Game 7 Monday night at Rogers Centre — with the Los Angeles Dodgers waiting for the victor in the World Series.

Rookie starter Trey Yesavage (2-1) showed poise beyond his years, striking out seven batters over 5 2/3 innings while giving up just two earned runs. The crowd of 44,764 gave him a roaring ovation as he walked off the mound — and he earned every bit of it.

Toronto jumped out early, tagging Seattle’s Logan Gilbert for a pair of runs in the second inning. Then Barger electrified the Dome with a two-run bomb in the third, giving the Jays breathing room. Guerrero added his own solo shot in the fifth, and later capitalized on a Mariners miscue in the seventh — sprinting home after a wild pitch and throwing errorby Cal Raleigh.

The bullpen locked things down, with Louis Varland recording four crucial outs and Jeff Hoffman finishing the final two innings to seal the win.

Seattle couldn’t recover from three costly errors and saw its top hitters go cold — the first three in the lineup went hitless, and Raleigh struck out three times.

For the Jays, it was all about timely hitting, crisp defense, and confidence — their first home playoff win over Seattle in franchise history.

Now, all eyes turn to Game 7. The Jays will hand the ball to Shane Bieber, while George Kirby gets the nod for the Mariners. One game decides it all — and Toronto’s hoping to punch its first World Series ticket since 1993.

Let’s go, Blue Jays. 💙
