From Stage to Spirits: Karol G Launches Her Own Tequila Line

Karol G is making her mark in a brand-new way — by stepping into the luxury tequila world. The Colombian superstar just announced her 200 Copas tequila in collaboration with Casa Dragones, where she’s not only a face of the brand but also an investor and creative force behind the project.

For Karol, tequila isn’t just a business move — it’s personal. Inspired by Mexican culture, which has deeply influenced her artistry, and led by Casa Dragones’ trailblazing founder Bertha González Nieves (the first female maestra tequilera), Karol sees 200 Copas as a celebration of women, Latinas, and entrepreneurship in a male-dominated industry.

The name comes from her fan-favorite song “200 Copas” off KG0516, and just like the track, the tequila is rooted in emotion, resilience, and connection. After three years of development, Karol helped shape every detail: from its Cristalino-style recipe (100% Blue Weber Agave aged over a year) to the sleek bottle design that carries her artistic touch.

Fans may recognize the bottle from her record-breaking Mañana Será Bonito tour, where she teased it nightly while performing “200 Copas.” With its bright citrus, floral, and roasted agave notes, Karol hopes her tequila becomes a staple in her fans’ lives — whether celebrating milestones, sharing a date, or even getting through heartbreaks.

Much like her music, 200 Copas is meant to be savored with soul.
