The 2025 Billboard Latin Music Awards are shaping up to be one for the history books—and Bad Bunny is at the center of it all. The Puerto Rican superstar has earned an unprecedented 27 nominations, the most ever received by a single artist in one year at the ceremony. The show will air live on October 23 from Miami on Telemundo, Peacock, and Telemundo Internacional.

This milestone surpasses the previous record of 23 nominations held by Ozuna, highlighting Bad Bunny’s sheer dominance across the Latin music industry. His album Debí Tirar Más Fotos and its singles scored multiple nods across categories like Artist of the Year, Songwriter of the Year, Top Latin Album of the Year, and numerous Hot Latin Song awards.

But Bad Bunny isn’t the only one making waves. Fuerza Regida followed with 15 nominations, Rauw Alejandro earned 14—including Tour of the Year for Cosa Nuestra—while Karol G continues to shine with 10 nominations, tying with rising star Tito Double P. Meanwhile, Peso Pluma secured 9 nods, proving that regional and urban acts are leading the charge in reshaping Latin music’s global impact.

The record-breaking achievement not only cements Bad Bunny’s status as a powerhouse but also underscores the evolution of Latin music, where streaming, genre crossover, and global reach are setting new standards.

With Guinness World Records confirming the milestone, all eyes will be on Miami to see just how many trophies Benito takes home.
