Colombian superstar Karol G is heading to one of the world’s most iconic stages: St. Peter’s Square in Vatican City. The global reggaeton queen will join a star-studded line-up for A Historic Concert from Vatican City, a once-in-a-lifetime show co-directed by Andrea Bocelli and Pharrell Williams.

Taking place on September 13, 2025, the free concert is part of the celebrations for the 2025 Jubilee Year. For the first time ever, a music event of this scale will be staged in Vatican City, with support from the Vatican itself. Alongside Karol G, the line-up includes John Legend, Jelly Roll, Clipse, Teddy Swims, Angélique Kidjo, and the Voices of the Fire Gospel Choir. Bocelli and Williams will also take the stage as performers.

Pharrell described the event as “a rare cultural moment where the world stops and collectively tunes in,” calling it a “message of unity and grace for all of humanity.”

For Karol G, this marks her first public performance of her Tropicoqueta era, making fans eager to see what she will bring to such a monumental stage. There is speculation she may perform her moving anthem “Milagros” from her Netflix documentary, or even debut her duet with Bocelli, “Vivo Por Ella”, live for the very first time.

Fans worldwide will be able to tune in, with the concert set to stream live on Disney+, Hulu, and ABC News Live at 3 p.m. EST.

Later in September, Karol G will continue her global takeover with an intimate series of cabaret-style performances at the Crazy Horse Paris, showcasing yet another side of her artistry.

With the Vatican show blending genres, cultures, and voices from around the world, this historic performance will undoubtedly be a landmark moment in Karol G’s career — and in global music history.
