On June 27, a few thousand people will gather in the City of Vaughan for the highly anticipated Reggaeton Block Party — a celebration of urban Latin culture, music, and community. From the moment the first beat drops, Assembly Park will transform into an open-air dance floor filled with energy, colour, and undeniable perreo vibes.

Local DJs will keep the crowd moving with a mix of classics from Daddy Yankee and Don Omar to fresh hits by Karol G, Rauw Alejandro, and Ryan Castro. Street vendors will be present and will serve up empanadas, chicharron, arepas, icy cocktails and more.

“This is more than a party — it’s a cultural movement,” said event organizer and Toronto Latinos founder, Carlos Brito. “Reggaeton is our soundtrack, our identity, and this block party is a way to celebrate that together.”

The event will draw families, longtime fans, and new listeners alike, creating a space that will feel both nostalgic and forward-looking. As the sun sets and the bass booms into the night, one thing will be clear: reggaeton’s reign is forever — and the streets know it best.

There are well over 1,500 people registered to be at the Cultural extravaganza. Tickets remain available here.
