Darren “IShowSpeed,” the 19-year-old YouTuber known for his fearless live-stream stunts, has gone viral after performing a dangerous backflip off the “Hand of God,” a statue perched on a mountain in Antigua, Guatemala. The stunt, part of his South America tour, was live-streamed on January 14, 2025, capturing his fans’ attention worldwide.
Before executing the backflip, IShowSpeed acknowledged the risks, warning viewers of the potential consequences. Despite the danger, he successfully landed the stunt, celebrating with a triumphant shout. Fans flooded social media with reactions, praising his bravery and dedication to thrilling content for his 34 million subscribers.
Before Guatemala, Speed was in Colombia; and now apparently he’s on his way to Ecuador.
