Neymar’s stint at Saudi Pro League club Al Hilal has been marked by limited playtime but massive earnings. After transferring from PSG in 2023 for $98 million, Neymar signed a two-year contract worth $100 million annually. Despite playing just seven matches, starting only four, and scoring one goal, Al Hilal has invested around $300 million in him over two years.

His time at Al Hilal was disrupted by injuries, including an ACL tear in October 2023 during international duty and a hamstring injury in late 2024, further limiting his appearances. Neymar’s contract with Al Hilal runs until June 2025, but he has hinted at a potential move to Inter Miami to reunite with Lionel Messi and Luis Suárez, all while continuing to benefit financially from his current deal.
