Latin music superstar Ozuna is bringing his life story to the big screen with Odisea, a feature film in which he stars as himself. The movie is named after his 2017 debut album, which spent 46 weeks atop Billboard’s Top Latin Albums chart. Directed by Latin Grammy-winning filmmaker Alexis Morante, Odisea chronicles Ozuna’s journey from his upbringing in Puerto Rico to becoming a global music icon, overcoming personal and professional challenges with humility and perseverance.

Filmed in the Dominican Republic, New York, and Puerto Rico, the project is Ozuna’s first under his production company, Bear with Oz Films. The soundtrack will include his biggest hits and original compositions. The film features a cast including Jorge Lendeborg Jr., Dania Ramírez, and Milly Quezada, and was scripted by David Maler and Almudena Ramírez.

Ozuna describes Odisea as a story of triumph and an inspiration for young people to pursue their dreams despite obstacles. Known for hits like “Se Preparó” and “Taki Taki,” Ozuna has achieved 29 Top 10 singles on Billboard’s Hot Latin Songs chart and won two Latin Grammys. A release date for the film, which blends cinematic fiction with autobiographical elements, has yet to be announced.
