Colombia has been recognized as the most beautiful country in Latin America and the third most beautiful in the world, according to a Forbes report based on research by money.co.uk. The study ranked countries based on their biodiversity and tourist attractions, such as mountains, volcanoes, rainforests, and coral reefs. Colombia earned a score of 7.16, following Indonesia (7.77) and New Zealand (7.27).

Colombia’s stunning variety of landscapes contributed to its high ranking, including the Andes mountains, the Amazon rainforest, and Caribbean beaches. The country also boasts extraordinary biodiversity, with thousands of species of flora and fauna inhabiting its vast tropical forests.

In 2023, Colombia experienced a tourism boom, welcoming a record 5.8 million visitors. Its coffee region, cultural and gastronomic offerings, and natural beauty continue to attract travelers worldwide. Other Latin American countries featured in the ranking were Mexico (5th) and Ecuador (11th). This recognition by Forbes further solidifies Colombia’s status as a world-class travel destination.
