Shakira has released the music video for her new single “Soltera,” which celebrates her single status with a vibrant, carefree vibe. The track marks her first release since her Latin Grammy-nominated album Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran, which debuted earlier this year in March. The tropical-flavored song got the visual treatment with guest appearances from other Latin pop stars, including Anitta, Danna Paola, Natti Natasha, and Bizarrap, as well as internet personalities like Lele Pons and Harry Jowsey.

The video begins with Shakira waking up in a messy hotel room after what appears to be a wild night out. The story then flashes back to her and her friends partying on a yacht, playing strip poker, and enjoying the nightclub scene. Shakira belts out empowering lyrics in the chorus, celebrating the freedom and fun of being single. The music video, filmed in Miami and previewed at LIV nightclub, is filled with upbeat energy and glamorous visuals.

Shakira has also announced her Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran tour, which will take her across Latin America next year, including stops in Brazil, Argentina, Mexico, Chile, Peru, and her home country, Colombia. The North American leg of the tour is set to kick off on November 2 in Palm Desert, California. This will be her first tour since her El Dorado World Tour in 2018.

You can watch the music video for “Soltera” here, and follow updates on the tour on Shakira’s official platforms.
