Bad Bunny’s recent North American tour, supporting his album “Nadie Sabe Lo Que Va a Pasar Mañana,” was allegedly targeted by a domestic terrorism plot, according to federal authorities. The FBI has indicted 58-year-old Mark Adams Prieto from Arizona, accusing him of planning a mass shooting at an Atlanta concert in mid-May, coinciding with Bad Bunny’s tour stop in the city. Prieto allegedly aimed to incite a race war before the 2024 election, specifically targeting Black people and other minorities at the event.

The FBI discovered the plan through a confidential informant and deployed an undercover agent whom Prieto attempted to recruit. Prieto allegedly sold rifles to an associate and openly discussed his plans, choosing Atlanta due to its conservative history and increased Black population. He targeted the Bad Bunny concert because he believed it would have a high number of Black attendees. Prieto also allegedly planned to distribute Confederate flags after the attack while shouting racially charged slogans.
