Fuerza Regida receives death threats ahead of their show in Cancun

Fuerza Regida, a Mexican-American music group, faced death threats from a criminal organization in Cancun, Mexico, following their announcement of the Pero No Te Enamores U.S. Tour. The threats were conveyed through narco mantas, warning the group not to perform in Cancun on April 19, attributed to the Sinaloa Cartel. Despite the threats, the group plans to proceed with the show, while local authorities investigate. This isn’t the first time Fuerza Regida has been targeted; last August, their Mexican security team was attacked, resulting in a death. In October, they canceled a show in Tijuana due to similar threats from the CJNG cartel.
