The newly surfaced surveillance video capturing the shooting of Cuban reggaeton artist El Taiger has intensified public attention on the tragic case. El Taiger, born Jose Manuel Carbajal Zaldivar, was fatally shot on October 3 outside the Hialeah home of Damian Valdez-Galloso, who is now the primary suspect in the case.

The chilling footage reveals El Taiger, 39, arriving at the property and engaging in what appears to be a verbal confrontation at the door. Moments later, he is shot in the head and collapses. The video further shows Valdez-Galloso dragging the artist’s body away by his ankles. Hours later, El Taiger’s lifeless body was found in an SUV near Northwest 9th Avenue and 17th Street in Miami. He succumbed to his injuries days later.

In court this past Thursday, Valdez-Galloso’s attorney entered a not-guilty plea on his behalf. The circumstances surrounding the case remain under investigation.

El Taiger’s death has sent shockwaves through the reggaeton community and his fans worldwide. As a prominent figure in the genre, he was celebrated for his contributions to Cuban reggaeton and beloved by many. His untimely death has left a significant void in the music world and prompted an outpouring of grief and tributes from fans and fellow artists alike.
