BARRIO (Marca) – Tekashi 6ix9ine is currently on the run in the Dominican Republic after an arrest warrant was issued.
While initial reports suggested that the controversial rapper was arrested when attempting to leave the country on a private plane following an alleged assault on two music producers in La Vega, it appears that he has managed to evade capture, and his whereabouts remain unknown.
The incident, which occurred during a music recording, has serious legal implications for the artist, with one of the victims needing surgery for a dislocated jaw as a result of the altercation.
The brawl was reportedly triggered by jealousy, as Tekashi 6ix9ine, who is apparently no longer romantically involved with Anuel AA’s ex-partner, targeted the production team of Dominican artist Diamond La Mafia, who is known for collaborating with Yailin La Más Viralon.
Although Yailin wasn’t present during the recording, Diamond La Mafia accused Tekashi 6ix9ine of orchestrating the attack, sharing videos on social media to support his claims.
In one of these videos, he described how the rapper arrived at the scene with a group of masked and armed men, making a dramatic entrance that left everyone stunned.
“He caught both of my producers,” he noted.
“I had just left the studio, and Yailin had just left. He was making her believe he was in Miami, and suddenly, he appeared at the studio in La Vega and attacked my producers, who were innocent and unknown to him.
“Six9ine came to the studio, jealous over Yailin. I’m here with my wife, and he attacked all my producers. I had left the studio just five minutes ago… the bravest one came with 70 people, why didn’t he come alone?”
Meanwhile, one of the assaulted young men recounted the terrifying moment.
“One moment I was coming down, and they were asking where Yailin was,” he said.
“I told them she had left, and they asked to enter the studio, and I opened the door, and they immediately attacked us.”
