Ecuadorian earns up to USD $2,500 removing head lice

TORONTO (Barrio) – Ecuadorian lady earns up to USD $2,500 daily at her lice removal company called “Larger Than Lice”. She removes head lice from the ultra rich in New York City, where the company is based.

Eliana Ortega moved to New York from Ecuador in 2014 with her 18 year old daughter to pursue the American Dream. One day someone told her that she could make up to $25 an hour removing head lice from those infected. She the started her own company.

Customer confidentiality is super important in this industry and that’s why she never reveals the names of any of her customers. She confesses that one of her clients was a daughter and granddaughters of a former US President.
